Much like the eldest brother in the Creation Myth story, after whom this region is named, Faylen is a wild and untamed landscape. From the twisted and dark Faylen forest, that covers most of the continent, to the frigid northern fords fo the Drowden and down to the scattered kingdoms of Talmondale, Thornestone, and Crannor. The one trait that can be marked by all is their penchant for wildness.
It is no wonder why those in the Keldarin Federation look down upon the "less civilized" kingdoms. Most Feylenese brush off their reputation with ease figuring the rest of the world just doesn't know how to have a good time.
The region itself is not as free and loving as its reputation may have it seem. The reckless abandon of the region gives way to small and often corrupt kingdoms and fiefdoms. It isn't uncommon to see peoples of this region frequently migrating from place to place to seek a better life either in another region of Feylan or the wider world of Cerebor
